So you finally decided to visit Kavos, you are overwhelmed and in this digital era where videos and images go viral every minute on social media, you are trying to figure out what Kavos is really like and how to spend your holidays whilst on the resort. We are pretty sure you know what the Kavos Nightlife is all about so we came up with the Top 10 Things you can do during the day.
For us there is nothing like getting out on the water to get a real feel about Kavos and to see it from a different point of view. There are dozens of boat trips departing from Kavos, some with Luxury Speedboats, some with traditional boats and some with Private Charters, no matter which way you choose, here is a few to consider.

1) PAXOS AND ANTIPAXOS
Paxos and Antipaxos are the most scenic islands to visit with the most crystal clear waters you have ever seen, they are just of the coast of Kavos and many celebrity super yachts can be seen here throughout the summer. Most boat tours will take you to these islands and make stops along the way to some beautiful golden beaches and off course the 3 caves which most boat tours enter them and the inner view is simply spectacular.

2) THE BLUE LAGOON & SYVOTA
For many the Blue Lagoon is considered "Heaven On Earth" and rightfully so, it is without a doubt the most beautiful place you will ever visit, its turquoise waters and its golden sandy beaches will leave you breathless. Plenty of boat trips visit here but definitely worth doing it with a luxury speedboat as the crew documents the whole journey plus they also use underwater cameras when everyone dips for a swim and it is pretty awesome.

Another way to get a better perspective of Kavos is to visit its countryside, the resort is 70% green and un-populated, it is filled with walks, paths, trails and the best way to visit them if you are not the walking type is on a Quad Safari.

3) KAVOS QUAD SAFARI
If you are thinking of getting an everlasting memory from your holiday, Kavos is home to some great Tattoo Parlors. The most important thing when getting tattooed is choosing a design your going to love seeing every day for the rest of your life. If there is text in your tattoo please make sure the spelling is correct as you are the one that will have to look at it every day, if you see something wrong please speak up. If you are getting tattooed text in a foreign language please make sure that it says what you think it says. Nobody wants to walk around with a tattoo that says i love chicken curry. Check out the Local Parlors, look at their portfolios and choose the artist that has the style that you like. It would be preferable to be sober while getting tattooed and we support that but if you plan on getting tattooed while drunk then that is totally up to you. Aftercare is crucial and you should follow the artist's instructions. Leave the clingfilm on for as long you were told and apply the appropriate cream with clean hands. Avoid swimming and sunlight while it is healing and on future holidays use high spf sun cream to keep your tats colors from fading.

8) POOL PARTIES
If Partying is your middle name, Kavos will not bore you during the day. There is a plethora of Pool Parties that happen throughout the resort and you will definitely find your self in some of them. The three venues that hold the craziest parties are the Island Beach Resort, the Quayside Village and the Quayside Boulevard. These Parties get wild and people do show up in crazy outfits like body glitter, body paint and outfits such as Smurfs, Bunnies, Superheroes and the like. If this is you then start getting creative. If you are looking for discounted prices for Theme Party Packs, we have partnered with the number one store on the resort that specializes in such and we will soon post details and packages.

The Rock Inn Was The Place To Be
The Quad Safari is an exciting off-road adventure into the countryside of Kavos and southern Corfu, a fun and amazing way to explore the resort with friends or family, an experience worth considering as the reward is priceless. On this journey you will see stunning mountain views and incredible sandy beaches whilst you brush up on your quad driving skills.

4) SECRET BEACH | WALKING TOUR
Undoubtedly one of the best beaches on the resort, its name Secret Beach was given during the 90's from British workers as this beach had limited road access at the time. Today its access has improved and you could get here by either walking, motorcycle or a small car. If you decide to walk then it is roughly 25 minutes from Kavos and it is definitely worth it. This beach has been left untouched by time as it hasn't seen much usage by locals and tourists. Any local could give you instructions how to get there and it is not that hard. We will try to create a map in the coming months, hopefully just in time for the summer.

5) KAVOS AQUA PARK
If you are looking to really get a feel of a place you are traveling too then the best way is to try their local cuisine. Greek food combines the freshest ingredients from land and sea to create appetizing and healthy dishes, the resort does have plenty of places to dine and if you are looking to experience traditional dishes with names you cant pronounce then Aristos Taverna is the place for you. Hands down one of the best restaurants for Folk and Modern Greek Dishes. On the other hand if you are looking for Greek street food, you know, the kind you find your self munching on at 4am like Kebabs, then you must visit The Kebab House, this place is a magnet for the locals and you know what it means if the locals eat there, wink wink.

7) TATTOO PARLORS | BODY ART
If you are looking to fill your day time with an activity that is fun and challenging then the Aqua Park is the right place for you. The Kavos Aqua Park was founded in 2017 and when looking from afar it looks like child's play but it is far from that. It is difficult and slippery but it will turn you into a champion by the end of the day. If you went out clubbing the night before then this is the best hangover cure !

6) LOCAL CUISINE | GREEK DINING
You can't say you visited Kavos if you never went on one of its amazing Boat Parties. If you have conquered the Party Scene on land then it is time to hit the high seas. These Parties are absolutely legendary and they are foully booked during June, July and August. The amounts of times we had people begging for a ticket during these months is ridiculous because there are only 2 Party Boats and they set sail 4 times a week (combined). One of the boats can accommodate 120 people and the other 180. During the high season, Kavos reaches 6000 visitors per week so you realize why these parties get sold out fast.

10) SCUBA DIVING
Last but not least on our Top 10 list is Scuba Diving. For some of us this is not another activity but rather a way of life. The moment you leap of the boat you are submerged into a different world and the deeper you go the more careless you feel for the world above the surface. Being able to take part in this world, to see a fish's natural habitat is an experience you will never forget. Diving is the closest thing to flying, not having to deal with gravity makes you feel like flying into the blue. Kavos has very warm and friendly waters, it is ideal for beginners.
